JUNE – THE MONTH OF PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT, TEAM SUPPORT AND CARE!
Throughout the month of June, occupational therapists from ABA Centers “Autism Today” had the opportunity to develop, exchange experiences and upgrade their knowledge during weekly occupational therapy supervisions led by our inspiring specialists Elitsa Velikova and Alex.
Occupational therapy is much more than therapy. It helps children develop the skills they need for everyday life – independence, coordination, attention, concentration, sensory regulation, fine and gross motor skills, play, learning and participation in the activities that make childhood truly fulfilling.
During the supervisions we discussed:
real clinical cases;
individual therapeutic strategies;
setting and tracking functional goals;
sensory integration and sensory profiles;
development of fine and gross motor skills;
self-care skills and daily independence;
play approaches and therapeutic activities;
working with families and supporting parents;
sharing good practices, new ideas and professional experience.
For us, supervision is not just training.
It is a space for professional growth, mutual support, inspiration and striving to be even better every day for the children who trust us.
