ABA Center for Applied Behavior Analysis - Pleven
On October 20, 2018, our center in Pleven opened its doors. The center, which offers high-quality professional therapeutic care for children with autism, was officially inaugurated by the mayor of Pleven. Children from Pleven and the entire northern Bulgaria region, who suffer from autism spectrum disorder—a condition that affects whole families—were given a chance for better care and a dignified life!
The building in the "Storgozia" neighborhood was provided by the Pleven municipality but was renovated solely through the donations and support of many friends of the cause and the association.
The center's services were initiated under a project funded by the "Human Resources" program and managed by the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy. The project execution concluded on August 1, 2019, and a sustainability check in May 2020 confirmed the project's sustainability and 25% overperformance. The center continues to operate and grow to this day, with a long waiting list for both our centers.
The service provided by the "Autism Today" association in Bulgaria includes: high-quality therapeutic care for children with autism spectrum disorder through Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Specialists work under continuous supervision by a representative of the American Certification Board for Behavior Analysts.
They discuss each child's program monthly with their supervisors, evaluating progress and making adjustments as needed to achieve set goals.
The center offers comprehensive services, where behavioral therapy is complemented by occupational therapists and speech therapists, who also receive monthly supervision from highly qualified supervisors. This ensures the highest quality therapeutic care for children with autism in Bulgaria.
