RECOGNITION FOR 11 YEARS OF KNOWLEDGE, HUMANITY AND RESPONSIBILITY!
It is with great joy, excitement and gratitude that we share that the Association “Autism Today” was awarded at the Annual Medical Awards 2026 in the category:
“Humanism and responsibility in social activities and projects”
This is a recognition of the cause that has been uniting our teams in Sofia, Pleven, Burgas and Vratsa for eleven years.
The cause to be with children with autism and their families not only with professional knowledge, but also with patience, perseverance, acceptance and heart.
The award was received by the Association’s wonderful young professionals — the people who every day turn therapy into hope, difficulties into opportunities, and small steps into big victories.
On behalf of the entire team, Ioana Vicheva delivered strong and exciting words:
“This award is not just for us.
It belongs to every child who has taken his first step towards communication.
To every family that has found hope in a difficult time.
To every therapist, psychologist, speech therapist, occupational therapist and social specialist who every day chooses to be there for these children with patience, professionalism and love.”
Eleven years ago we started with one dream and one center.
Today, Autism Today supports thousands of children and families and proves that when knowledge meets persistence and professionalism meets humanity, change is possible.
But the most important lesson we take with us is simple and timeless:
Behind every diagnosis is a child.
A child with dreams.
A child with abilities.
A child who deserves a chance.
A child who deserves to be seen, understood, accepted and supported.
Therefore, we accept this award not only as a recognition of the journey we have made, but also as a responsibility to continue to advocate for more opportunities, more quality support, more understanding and a more dignified life for people on the autism spectrum and their families.
