Occupational Therapist
Iveta Ivanova
Hello! My name is Iveta Ivanova, and I am an occupational therapist at the association "Autism Today." I graduated from the National Sports Academy "Vasil Levski," holding a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiotherapy and a Master's degree in Kinesiotherapy in Pediatrics.
My work at Autism Today is a dream come true, as I have always wanted to work with children. From my experience as a coach in rhythmic gymnastics, I discovered that children are my calling. Children on the autism spectrum and those with developmental differences need even more support, understanding, and attention, which makes me feel even more fulfilled to be part of the process of corrective and rehabilitative activities and improving their condition and development.
It is now a pleasure for me to have the opportunity to help those who need assistance and to inspire hope for a better future for the children and their families.
In my work with children at the "Autism Today" association, I find purpose, and I believe that with persistence, we will contribute to their development and succeed in unlocking the potential of each child.
Psychologist
Maya Rakhneva
My name is Maya Rakhneva, and I am an ABA therapist and occupational therapist at the "Autism Today" Association.
Working at the association is a dream come true for me. I feel incredibly inspired and energized because I work in the field I love, surrounded by young and motivated individuals. Every day, I am inspired to help children on the autism spectrum develop their potential and feel confident in themselves.
For me, this is not just a job but a mission that I accept with an open heart.
I am studying psychology at the "Chernorizets Hrabar" University and have participated in various training sessions, the most important of which have been Motivational Interviewing and Art Therapy.
For me, movement is health, and sports represent freedom. I actively practice gymnastics, acro yoga, and dance. I believe that movement not only improves physical coordination but also has a positive impact on mental well-being. Through occupational therapy, I aim to show children that therapy can be fun and playful, so they don't even realize where play ends and therapy begins.
Social Worker
Rumyana Milcheva
Hello! My name is Rumyana Milcheva, and I am a social worker at the "Autism Today" Association. I am currently completing my bachelor's degree in "Social Activities" at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski." My professional journey began during my internship at a non-governmental organization that provides integrated social services aimed at children in early childhood. There, I had the opportunity to work with children and their families, which helped me discover my calling. Additionally, I have experience working in a children's daycare.
Working with children brings me immense satisfaction, as I believe that every life is unique and deserves special attention and care. Providing the right support and help in overcoming challenges, so that children can develop their talents and abilities, is not only a professional commitment but also a personal inspiration. I believe that every child has the potential to achieve great things when they are in a supportive and understanding environment that gives them confidence and opportunities for growth. I see true value in the process when I observe how each child, with each passing day, makes their small or big steps forward. These moments of progress, though sometimes seeming insignificant, are real achievements that bring hope and joy to both the children and their families, as well as to us.
I am fortunate to be part of a young, ambitious, and dedicated team at the "Autism Today" Association, where every day we strive to provide the best support to families seeking our assistance. Our work is motivated by the belief that with the right approach, we can change the lives of many children and help their families find the path to a better future. I am grateful that we are given the opportunity to be part of this important process!
