💙 April 2 – World Autism Awareness Day 🩵🪻
Today we do not just mark a date. Today we remind you that behind the word autism stand thousands of children, families, destinies, struggles, hopes and small daily victories. 💙
For many people, this day is just April 2. For parents of children on the autism spectrum, it is every day – a day of effort, patience, love, anxiety and faith. A day in which they fight for their child to be understood, accepted and supported. 🩵
People on the autism spectrum do not want pity. They want a chance. They want a place in society. They want to be seen with a heart, not with stereotypes. 🔵
The Autism Today Association has been turning this cause into real help for years — with 5 centers built and renovated in different cities of Bulgaria – three in Sofia, Pleven and Burgas. Today we continue with a new mission — the creation of a center in Vratsa. 💙
The building was provided with the support of the Municipality of Vratsa and Mayor Kalin Kamenov, but we still have a lot of work ahead of us – repairs, finishing, equipment, furnishings. Every lev is hope. Every gesture is a step towards a place where children will receive development, care and a future. 🩵🛠️
